Injection mold is a tool for the production of plastic products, is the core pillar of cosmetic packaging materials, especially plastic packaging materials, but also to give plastic products complete structure and precise size of the tool. Injection mold plastic mold, is the plastic processing industry and plastic molding machine matching, giving plastic products with a complete configuration and precise size of the tool. According to the different molding methods, can be divided into different mold types. 01 Single Parting Surface Injection Mold

When the mold is opened, the movable mold and the fixed mold are separated to take out the plastic part, which is called the single parting surface mold, also known as the double plate mold. It is the most simple and basic form of injection mold, it can be designed into a single cavity injection mold, can also be designed into a multi cavity injection mold, is the most widely used an injection mold.

The double parting surface injection mold has two parting surfaces. Compared with the single parting surface injection mold, the double parting surface injection mold adds a partially movable intermediate plate (also called movable gate plate, which is provided with gates, runners and other parts and components required for the fixed mold) to the fixed mold part, so it is also called a three-plate (movable template, intermediate plate, fixed template) injection mold, it is often used in single-cavity or multi-cavity injection molds for point gate feeding. When the mold is opened, the intermediate plate is separated from the fixed template at a fixed distance on the guide column of the fixed mold so as to take out the pouring system condensate between the two templates.

The double parting surface injection mold has complex structure, high manufacturing cost and difficult processing of parts. It is generally not used for the molding of large or extra-large plastic products.

 

03 Injection Mold with Side Parting and Core-pulling Mechanism

When the plastic part has a side hole or a side concave, it is necessary to use a laterally movable core or slider molding. After injection molding, the movable mold first moves downward for a certain distance, and then the inclined plane section of the bending pin fixed on the fixed mold plate forces the sliding block to move outward. At the same time, the push rod of the demoulding mechanism pushes the push plate to take off the plastic part from the core.

 

04 Injection Mold with Movably Molded Parts

Due to some special structures of plastic parts, the injection mold is required to be equipped with movable molding parts, such as movable punch, movable concave mold, movable insert, movable thread core or mold ring, etc., which can be removed from the mold together with the plastic parts during demoulding and then separated from the plastic parts.

 

05 Automatic thread unloading injection mold

For plastic parts with threads, when automatic demoulding is required, a rotatable threaded core or ring can be set on the mold, and a special transmission device can be used to drive the threaded core or ring to rotate by using the mold opening action or the rotating mechanism of the injection molding machine, so as to release the plastic parts.

 

06 Injection Mold without Runner

Non-runner injection mold refers to the method of adiabatic heating of the flow channel to keep the plastic from the nozzle of the injection molding machine between a cavity in a molten state, so that there is no pouring system when the mold is opened to take out the plastic part. The former called the absolute hot runner injection mold, the latter called the hot runner injection mold.

 

07 Right Angle Injection Mold

Right-angle injection mold is only suitable for angle injection molding machine, which is completely different from other injection molds in that the feeding direction of this kind of mold is perpendicular to the opening and closing direction. His main channel is located on both sides of the moving and fixed mold parting surfaces, and its cross-sectional area is usually the same, which is different from other molds for injection molding machines. At the end of the main channel, in order to prevent wear and deformation of the injection molding machine nozzle and the inlet end of the main channel, a replaceable flow channel insert can be set.

 

08 Injection Mold of Demoulding Mechanism on Fixed Mold

In most injection molds, the demoulding device is installed on one side of the moving mold, which is conducive to the work of the ejection device in the mold opening and closing system of the injection molding machine. In actual production, because some plastic parts are limited by shape, it is better to leave the plastic parts on the fixed mold side, which makes the plastic parts come out of the mold, and the demoulding mechanism must be set on the fixed mold side.
